I read your blog about how to deal with high local taxes, it is a very positive approach to overcome the ever-increasing local taxes, but, I hope this blog is still active, because I want to point out that something is not right with recent increases in local business taxes in most cities not only in Metro Manila but around the country. Do you even know that most of them I can name more than ten cities that adds 15% more every year on your actual or declared gross receipts that for some cities they have billed more than double your actual sales and actually bill you for that imagined increases. This is fraud, plain and simple. I am actually preparing a protest against all these city halls doing just that. The purpose I wrote on your blog, maybe there are others…It is hard to fight city hall, so, maybe I could get help from those who may have the same dilemma. Thanks.
