Taxumo turns Tax Filing from what was previously a painful scary chore into a pleasant & quick online experience! Aligned with that promise, we are releasing our new UI. Built from the ground up with intuitiveness and ease in mind, filing your taxes are even easier than ever before.
What didn’t change?
Before we go into what changed, let’s talk about what didn’t change. Taxumo is still easy to use: you just enter income and expenses and press some buttons. In 1 click, forms are automatically filled out. Payment can be done through the website as well. So tax filing is still as easy as possible!
So what changed?
In a nutshell, the whole UI has changed.
We did away with the old dashboard. Now your “homepage” is the Cashflow View which also shows you the real time tax calculations in cards, which you can still press to proceed with tax filing.
It’s also now mobile-responsive – we saw that a lot of our users are using Taxumo from their phones so we rebuilt it with those screens in mind. Taxumo is now easier to use on smaller screens.
The Income Tax calculations now use the formula from the TRAIN law (RA No. 10963). As Implementing Rules & Regulations are released by the BIR, we’ll be updating Taxumo as well with the updated forms & formula to make sure that you’re using the latest forms when you’re filing your taxes.
What’s Next?
Every week, we’re deploying new improvements and upgrades that make tax filing online through Taxumo as easy as possible. We’re also releasing new forms soon such as WHT forms and VAT – so watch out for that!
